Phishing scam alert
Applicants for employment with many companies have been targeted in a number of email and other "phishing" schemes in which criminals impersonate Human Resources or hiring representatives of companies (like Hill-Rom) in an attempt to mislead and defraud victims with requests for money or sensitive personal information.
These schemes are frequently initiated via email or other internet communications, but can also occur over the telephone. Please be advised that these phishing schemes are fraudulent and are a scam.
Please also be advised that Hill-Rom will never request money, credit card, or some other confidential personal information from an applicant for employment in order to process his/her application, background checks, or drug screens. Any type of hiring communications from a website or email address that does not end exactly with "hill-rom.com" is not an authentic communication from Hill-Rom and should be ignored. In any case in which you are suspicious of the authenticity of a hiring-related communication purportedly from Hill-Rom, you can verify it by contacting email@example.com.
Finally, please be advised that in no event will Hill-Rom or any of its affiliates have any liability or responsibility associated with any activities undertaken by those responsible for this scam, or any similar or other scam.
If you suspect that you have received a job phishing email or scam relating to an opportunity with Hill-Rom, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Provide us with specific information such as who contacted you, how you were contacted (by phone, email or others), and any other details. If possible, please forward the phishing email to us. Hill-Rom’s representatives will then determine whether the information you received is legitimate or a phishing scam.
