The Hill-Rom Technical Training Programmes are product certification programmes specifically designed for hospital engineers, bio-medical and maintenance staff, to meet our customers' needs. This training programme is being offered with the primary focus being the performance of a preventative maintenance schedule and major troubleshooting techniques.
Training in the United Kingdom is at our facility in Ashby.Training is also carried out at Pluvigner in France, at the primary manufacturing location of the Hill-Rom Company in Europe. Pluvigner is located in Brittany, 130 km North of Nantes and 200 km South of Brest.
The programmes include training materials, certification and lunch each class-day, for which you are registered.
Upon completion, you will be able to return to your facility with the product knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to keep your patient care areas functioning at their required levels. The courses offer these specific objectives:

Hands-on knowledge of troubleshooting techniques

Preventive maintenance and safety inspection steps

Understanding of product features and benefits

Ability to quickly spot and correct user errors

Theory of operation and component level replacement
All Service manuals users manuals and recommended spare parts lists as well as student guides are provided. Testing includes problem diagnosis and a written exam.
Since this programme is designed for those individuals responsible for the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance / preventive maintenance of Hill-Rom equipment, it is recommended that the student possess a basic knowledge of mechanics, electronics and has experience with electronics testing equipment.Seminars begin at 9:00 AM and end at approximately 4:00 PM.
