Alto™ is an alternating pressure overlay mattress of unrivalled comfort
Conventional alternating pressure overlay systems have a rigid cell design, which often leads to patient discomfort. The Alto™ Overlay mattress feels soft and comfortable, the cushion material is made of an elastic polymer that has the ability to stretch to three times its normal size and therefore is highly conformable. This helps distribute bodyweight more evenly and ensure maximum patient comfort by decreasing tissue deformation.

Alternating air cushions
The gentle unobtrusive 10 minute 1 in 2 alternating cycle improves pressure relief and comfort levels by ensuring patients are not exposed to the high cushion pressures used in some conventional overlay systems.

Features

Mattress and optional seating system deliver 24 hour care
A cost-effective solution, no need for two separate systems for bed and chair. The Alto™ overlay mattress has an optional, automatically adjusting seat cushion which senses individual patient morphology and ensures low interface pressures whilst the patient is seated. The seating system may be disconnected from the air mattress to allow greater patient independence without compromising tissue viability.
