Enhanced patient safety and mobility
This fully electric birthing bed has point-of-care controls within the integrated half-length side-rails which tuck away to provide a zero transfer gap enabling the mother safe mobilisation in and out of bed.
Removable foot section
The lightweight, lift-off foot section detaches in one easy movement. It conveniently stores upright, keeping the perineal edge of the mattress off the floor.
OneStep™ foot supports
The single release lever provides easy adjustment in multiple directions. A gas assisted mechanism helps glide the foot into place.
EasyGlide™ calf supports
They are always available and easily accessible to accommodate patients of various heights. They may be raised or lowered by the foot section control button on the side-rail.
Integrated grip handles
They provide comfort and support for the mother during labour and delivery. They tuck neatly out of the way when not in use.
Seat section
Choice of V-cut or straight-edge mattress. The V-cut surface allows maximum exposure to the mother's perineum during labour, delivery and recovery. In addition the optional lumbar and seat air mattress system adjustable by the mother or midwife offers comfort and support.
Built-in automatic night light
The photo-sensor allows for automatic illumination providing a focal point of the floor and foot exit area. The point-of-care side-rail controls are backlit for visbility in the dark.
Battery backup
Even when the bed is unplugged the bed controls continue to function, facilitating positioning and control during emergency transport or adjustment of the bed height.
