COMLinx® Hospital Communication System

The COMLinx® NCM nurse call module (NCM) hospital communication system offers real-time information to assist you in managing your patient safety and patient flow initiatives. COMLinx® nurse call system offers configurable fall risk alerts and other patient safety and operational alerts based on real-time bed status information. This Hill-Rom patented technology enables properly equipped Hill-Rom® beds to provide information that can be sent instantly to the caregiver or unit secretary, improving overall hospital communications.

Connecting equipment, systems and solutions together in an intelligent, scalable open architecture will help optimize a hospital’s efficiency and resource utilization. This fully integrated easy-to-use system includes touch-screen technology, nurse-patient communication, staff locating and management reports powered by Windows® operating system.

Part of your Fall Risk Mitigation initiatives – Caregivers can be alerted to potentially undesirable bed configurations. For example, it the siderail on the bed is lowered without the caregiver's knowledge, the system will quickly respond to the situation, alerting caregivers. Integration with Vocera® and other wireless communications systems enables notifications and alerts to be delivered to mobile caregivers and staff in real-time wirelessly.
