Hill-Rom Technical Training Programs

The Technical Training Programs from Hill-Rom are product certification programs specifically designed for hospital engineers, bio-medical and maintenance staffs. These programs focus primarily on the performance of a preventive maintenance schedule and major troubleshooting techniques.

Objectives
Upon completion, you will return to your facility with the product knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to keep your patient care areas functioning at required levels. The courses offer these specific objectives:

  • Hands-on knowledge of troubleshooting techniques
  • Preventive maintenance and safety inspection steps
  • Understanding of product features and benefits
  • Ability to quickly spot and correct user errors
  • Knowledge of product warranties, out-of-warranty exchange programs and parts ordering procedures
  • Theory of operation and component level replacement

We have training facilities in Batesville, IN. Batesville, IN is the corporate headquarters and primary manufacturing location of the Hill-Rom Company and is located between Cincinnati, OH and Indianapolis, IN.
Fees vary based on the course offered. Please contact us for specific fee inquiries. The programs include training materials, certification and lunch each class-day. Travel is not included.
Seminars begin at 8:00 a.m. EST (COMLinx™ NCM systems sessions begin at 7:30 a.m. EST) and end at approximately 4:30 p.m. EST.
All Service manuals, user manuals and recommended spare parts lists, as well as student guides are provided. Testing includes problem diagnosis and a written exam.
Because these programs are designed for those individuals responsible for the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance / preventive maintenance of Hill-Rom® equipment, it is recommended that the student possess a basic knowledge of electronics and has experience with electronics testing equipment. Additionally, for any of the coursed listed under "Communications Sessions", the student must possess a basic level of computer understanding. (Note the course descriptions for additional details.)
