With its convenient patient access, Hill-Rom’s capable Trauma Stretcher (P8040) is ideal for use in both trauma and emergency. Built to last year after year, this stretcher offers outstanding mobility, convenience and quality.
Mobility. Why struggle to steer and stop? An optional active hand brake reduces strain of going down ramps and sudden stops. Our integrated IV pole transport device option helps you to maneuver stretcher and IV pole stands with ease. The next generation Steering Plus™ system allows crisp cornering and control.
Convenience. Save time and help reduce injury risk with this stretcher’s head-to-toe x-ray capabilities. The full-length platform accepts all standard x-ray cassettes and grids. Mounts for drainage bags and chest tube suction are located at all four corners.
Quality. Our reinforced frames are made of heavy-gauge, automotive-grade steel for long-lasting quality — and a 700 lbs. weight capacity to handle higher patient weights, even under harsh conditions. Nickel-plated push handles, IV poles, siderails and other components offer superior rust resistance, even in harsh environments.
